Most of my approach experiments up until September 2015 have been relatively devoid of context. At least any context that adds interpretive flavor to the photographs. Lana was the first time I added context to the compositional mix. Of course I used what was close at hand — the kitchen area of the Baltimore studio space.
My vision for the project once approach and collaborators are nailed down is to use a lot of diverse locations for context. Each with an appropriate flavor for the personality of my collaborator and the wardrobe we select. I'll be playing around a lot with context prior to selecting locations for the final project output.
